I need to be respected. You want to know why? because everybody does. So, how to gain them without sympathetically begging?? laa,, as easy as Russian Language jee,. how?? how??? 1 thing u must consider is that u make sure that anywhom is it, knows that u want to be respected. But then, dont ever tell them verbally straight away... nnti korang langsung x drespect... x percaya?? try laa... ive tried before n thats why some people look down to me.. of course they look down, cuz m just 161cm je... ahaha... so, wrong method... TEEETTTT!!!!
Respect comes from people inner life, and the values and beliefs they hold. If someone is sincere, honest and self effacing, it is easy to respect them.
1. TALK LESS
\like i got mentioned before, we cant command people by excessively talking. firstly, thats rude, second, its annoying,,, (for me laaa).. there are an oft saying "actions speak louder than words".. not that we can ignore the power of speaking, but in this case, the less u talk, the easier u gain respect. never approach zero!! means, dont keep urself in a silent mode. speak when it is necessary! have u all meet the situation where u have a friend who speaks so little in a class (a shy person), but then when it comes to his or her turn to speak, everyone turns their volume down so they can listen each and every word the person says attentively. same here. remember, talk whenever u are needed to.
True words aren’t eloquent;
eloquent words aren’t true.
Wise men don’t need to prove their point;
men who need to prove their point aren’t wise.
-- Lao Tzu.Tao Te Ching Verse 81 --
Loner nk add satu verse,
We only respect Wise men. ahaha... btol la kan??
2. LISTEN MORE
\ im very sure most people nowadays like to have their own say... but if we can patiently listen to others, they'll appreciate our concern and attention. its no harm to listen, even if it is boring and repetitive.. ahaha... dont u even dare to make ur ugly boring face... btw, listen to others also mean that we shows our interest towards that person as a person.
Listening more is the perfect complement to talking less. When we talk we try to influence others, when we listen we appreciate others; it is important to get the right balance.
3. SINCERE APPRECIATION
\ theres a big different btw sincere appreciation and flattery 1 which hopes for similar words to be repaid in kind. take time to look at the action which really deserve appreciation and be generous. it is also important to be judicious because if u do it all the time, it becomes insincere.
4. LEAVE PRAISE TO OTHER PEOPLE
\ To gain the respect of other people, it will not help to remind people of why they should admire you. Good deeds will be rewarded; there is no need to force the issue. Respect often comes to those who don’t chase after it.
===LONER HAVING REST RIGHT NOW... PENAT~====
Lets continue,
5. SELF RESPECT
\ some more important part is, to have faith in yourself. This is not an egotistical pride, but modest self respect and faith in your inner capacities. Having respect for others is difficult if you have no respect for yourself. The idea of self-respect is very closely related to self-confidence, but respect is more about what you do whereas confidence is about how you feel. The two go hand-in-hand.

I simply do
What many dream of.
I simply do
What others talk about.
I simply become
What others dare not
Even to imagine.

last but almost the least, ( ;
6. DON'T TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY
\ how can i describe this one a... just dont take urself too seariously laa... or else people will become "INGGA" (ask ur Sarawakian friends") wif you. if we aware of our own limitations and never try to cross the line of our limit, people will respect us more. Remember that it is very important to avoid an exaggerated false modesty which can be just as irritating.
so, try me, meet me and ask straight away, "How can I respect you?"
tq for reading n spending ur time,,, gud luck in ur life.
